I was shown this bus ticket that was saved from the 1980's. Now, the system is digitized and just requires bus users to swipe the tickets through a machine. When I saw these retro tickets, I couldn't remember how these worked. Although the 80's were a much simpler time, it wasn't clear at first what the information on the ticket communicated. However, with the constraints created by the technology used at that time, the solution does serve its purpose quite well.
