Visual Overload
There was just too much to read at this cross-walk, I just wanted to get to the other side of the street. I initially just glanced at this sign and did not pay attention to all of the instructions. I like to think that cross-walks have a universal understanding of when to go, and when to stop. The design would have been more effective minus a few of the elements, probably to communicate just where the button was located.
